Warranty Support

At ADVANTIDGE we care about the success of your identity management solution, and providing excellent service and expert support is part of our customer promise. Standard warranty coverage and support options for clients with products still within the terms of the manufacturer warranty are shown below.

Support

We will provide domestic toll-free phone and email support during the life of ID card printing products which have been purchased from ADVANTIDGE . We guarantee a basic level of support on all the products we sell, in addition to upgraded support plans with expedited response times, as well as other benefits. Our technical support team may not be able to diagnose all printer issues over the phone, so we may issue the repair quote or case number so the product can be sent in for service. No printers or any other items purchased from ADVANTIDGE will be accepted for service without having an approved repair order or case number issued. Please contact us to request a service quote or support plan to expedite your equipment repair.

Telephone and email support for hardware or software installation, training, system configuration, database creation, remote assistance, setup of systems and other advanced support of ID card printers, ID card systems, photo ID software, is also available. The cost for these services are not covered by the manufacturer warranty however they are included in our support plans in addition to one time support tickets along with other non-warranty services.

Repair

ADVANTIDGE is an Authorized Service Center for the manufacturers we represent. Most items purchased through us are eligible for depot service or factory repair for the period of the standard warranty. Warranty services are subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty. A support case must be requested before any products can be sent in to ADVANTIDGE for repair so the unit can be identified upon arrival along with a description of the issue.

Equipment purchased from ADVANTIDGE which has been installed incorrectly, used improperly, modified from the original condition, subjected to physical or electrical stress, abused or damaged by accident or by neglect, is void of coverage under the manufacturer warranty. ADVANTIDGE is under no obligation to provide any warranty services, repairs or replacement parts when ID cards or ID card printer ribbons used by the customer are not manufacturer approved.

ID card printers which are discontinued or beyond their warranty coverage may still be serviced by our technical support team. If our tech services team confirms we can service these models, the customer may be responsible for paying the shipping fees and costs for parts, labor and repair for these printers. Card issuance components which never had warranty coverage though ADVANTIDGE due to being purchased elsewhere may still receive support through us. Please contact us for a support plan or one time service ticket to request a quote for expedited support options.

Loaner ID Card Printer

Customers with a warranty which includes loaner ID card printer coverage may be sent a printer for use while their ID badge printer is being repaired under the terms and conditions as set by the manufacturer. Requests for loaner printers are processed same day when possible, or the following business day. Loaner printers ship to the customer once their printer has been shipped to the factory for service.

For printers under warranty that do not include a loaner, or whose coverage has expired, ADVANTIDGE may be able to offer a rental printer with an active Gold Support Plan. For more information on our rental program or support plans please contact us today.
