Since our inception, the team at ADVANTIDGE has been committed to providing customers with eco friendly options for security identification. Nearly 20 years we introduced corn based PLA cards to replace polluting PVC. We have tested numerous options for wood based cards, including prior attempts with bamboo, recycled PVC and now offer solutions for digital identification via a smart phone that works on Apple IOS, Google Android or any browser.

Q – Can I print on Bamboo Seos cards with my card printer?
A – The surface of the Bamboo Seos cards is not designed to be printable using dye sublimation by either DTC or HDP card printers.
Q – Will Bamboo Seos cards have the serialized external numbering printed on them by HID like my existing badges?
A – Currently, HID is only offering configurations of Bamboo Seos cards without any visible numbering. Later this year, we expect to have engraving available for customizing the surface with numbers or text.
Q – What is the lead time on receiving Bamboo Seos cards after placing my order?
A – The current lead time is about 1-2 weeks for shipments of Bamboo Seos cards. There are no backorders and the unprogrammed cards are on the shelf ready for issuance.
Q – Our company is very interested in switching to eco friendly RFID cards, how can I confirm my access control system can read the Bamboo Seos cards?
A – If you already use HID iClass Seos badges then all you need to do is order the new Bamboo Seos cards and they will be recognized just like your existing cards with the same programming.
Q – We use HID Corporate 1000, can we use the new Bamboo Seos cards on our access control system?
A – The Bamboo Seos cards work just like regular iClass Seos badges or fobs. If you already use Seos, you simply need to complete the Corporate 1000 vendor change form to us so we can submit to HID to place your order.
