Zebra ZXP Series 1 ID Card Printer FAQs

The Zebra ZXP Series 1 is the entry-level ID card printer in Zebra’s family of next-generation high-performance ID card printers. It is a single-sided, full-color badge machine that has been designed for price-sensitive customers with simple, low-volume card printing needs. The ZXP Series 1 uses the same housing and many shared components of the mid-level Zebra ZXP Series 3 ID card printer and offers customers a more limited feature set at a lower price point. The Zebra ZXP Series 1 is an ideal solution for:

● Price sensitive and entry-level customers
● Customers with low-volume ID card printing applications (10-15 ID cards per day)
● Customers with simple ID card printing applications (no smart encoding, etc.)
● Large deployments of decentralized issuance ID cards (membership, loyalty, etc.)

The ZXP Series 1 ID card printer replaces the P100i printer as Zebra’s entry-level, low-cost ID card printer, and it improves upon it by offering faster print speeds, a 100 card input bid and card feeder, the ability to print on a wider range of ID card thicknesses and an easier out of the box setup – all at a lower price!

The ZXP Series 1 has been designed to offer customers an entry-level ID card printer more capable than those of competitors.

Recognizing the need for a true low-cost ID card printer solution, the Zebra ZXP Series 1 ID card printer offers customers a smaller feature set at a lower price than the Zebra ZXP Series 3 ID card printer.

For customers in price-sensitive markets, or for those who do not wish to pay for advanced ID card printing features they do not need, the ZXP Series 1 is the perfect ID card printing solution.
