ADVANTIDGE announces the availability of a Free Upgrade for ActivID Validation suite 7.3. The ActivID Validation suite is available to all ActivID applications with a current maintenance agreement which enables organizations to deploy a PKI certificate validation infrastructure.
HID ActivID Validation Authority v7.3 and ActivID Validation Clients v7.3 Offer:
- Log Retention: ActivID Validation Authority now allows users to retain log files for any period. The log files can be configured to, labeled, zipped, and stored at different locations automatically.
- CSR in Printable Format: ActivID Validation Authority now supports CSR in printable format instead of UTF-8.
- Status Page for Direct OCSP: ActivID Validation Authority now provides a status page for direct OCSP requests served through Validation Authority.
- CA AKI Hash Inclusion in Proof List Name: ActivID Validation Authority now provides a configurable option to include CA AKI hash in the proof list name.
- Validation Clients Updates: ActivID Validation Clients such as Desktop Validation Client (DVC) and SerVE clients are now branded with HID Global. They are also updated with the latest libraries to improve security

Availability
ActivID Validation Authority 7.3 and ActivID Validation Clients 7.3 are available immediately and can be electronically downloaded from the ActivID Customer Portal or HID Partner Community. This upgraded solution is comprised of the ActivID Validation Authority and ActivID Validation Responder and provides an infrastructure that is capable of scaling to millions of user certificates.
Current ActivID Validation Suite Customers
ActivID Validation Authority 7.3 and ActivID Validation Clients 7.3 upgrades are available at no charge to customers with a current maintenance contract.
The latest release of ActivID Validation suite, version 7.3, includes new enhancements such as log retention options, printable CSR, status page for direct OCSP responses, inclusion of Authority Key Identifier (AKI) hash in the proof list name, Validation Clients updates, and security fixes to better address the needs of customers.
ADVANTIDGE recommends customers using ActivID Validation Authority 7.1/7.2, Corestreet Desktop Validation Client 3.1, CoreStreet Server Validation Extension (SerVE) (IIS) 3.1, CoreStreet Server Validation Extension (SerVE) (MDC) 3.1, and CoreStreet Server Validation Extension (SerVE) (OWA) 3.1 upgrade to version 7.3. ActivID Validation Authority Version 7.2 and validation clients version 3.1 is supported for two more years to enable a smooth transition; older versions are now in end-of-life status.
