The Zebra ZXP3 card printer comes standard as a single sided badge printer with the option to upgrade to dual sided printing.
Zebra high performance ID card printer ribbons employ an improved chemical formulation specifically designed for fast high-quality image printing. Zebra has been the first to market with these high-performing ribbons, which provide more efficient dye transfer and greater durability under ID card printing conditions, providing better image quality and faster throughput without compromising reliability or cost! Zebra’s ZXP Series 3 ID card printer ribbons are eco-friendly and feature Load-N-Go™ drop-in cartridges. The enhanced ZXP Series 3 ID card printer is designed to work only with Zebra True Colours ix Series ZXP 3 high-performance, high-capacity Zebra ID card printer ribbons. Zebra ix Series intelligent technology automatically detects and authenticates ribbons and an integrated cleaning roller is included on each ribbon.
Zebra ZXP 3 Series Card Printers are also compatible with Zebra’s DuraSecure YMCKOO Ribbon. This ribbon allows the printing of a bitmap image using the overlay panel to create a “watermark” feature that is faint yet still visible to the human eye. Images printed on either the first or second overlay panel become fluorescent under ultraviolet light for fast and secure image identification. Also, its unique design creates an additional layer of overlay protection during printing for the security images on the card, making the ID cards up to 50% more durable when using this ribbon and a Zebra printer.
