Delivering on Service: Veteran Naval Officer Rob Druce

ADVANTIDGE’s newest team member is a Veteran Naval Officer. Meet Rob Druce: an achieved military serviceman with ten esteemed years in the Navy on his resume. Today he is our head of channel sales supporting our reseller and integrator clientele. Rob has a track record for successful outcomes, commitment to his team, and delivering on service.

Joining our team in August 2021, not only is Rob a respected serviceman, but also a results-driven sales professional with nearly a decade of experience in security technology.

An Esteemed Career in the Navy

Prior to his tenure in security tech sales and management, Rob graduated from The Citadel, the Military College of SC, which prepares principled leaders to be successful in whatever endeavor they choose. Thereafter, Rob served for ten years in the Navy, stationed at Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Naval Station Norfolk, Naval Station San Diego, and Naval Air Station Lemoore. 

Rob first served as a Surface Warfare Officer specializing in Security Forces and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) operations. He then became a Naval Security Forces Instructor, supervising the training of 100-500 military members and Federal law enforcement officers. 

“Ensuring my team’s well-being was an everyday priority for me. Regardless if we were stateside or deployed, regardless if I was sick, tired or stressed, I always strove to give my Sailors my all and everything they needed to be successful.” Rob says. 

“This translates today to my commitment to giving my all to my team so we can be collectively successful. There is no more important aspect to ADVANTIDGE’s motto of ‘finding a better way’ than by first making certain our team is equipped for successful outcomes.”

As Channel Sales Manager, Rob supports our security integrators and resellers so that they can reflect credential security expertise to their clientele.

From his tenure in the Navy, Rob learned the importance of discipline in everything he sets out to do. He explains, “Without discipline, working efficiently, staying focused on goals, and overcoming obstacles would be much more challenging if not altogether impossible. This discipline carries over into the commitment to excellence ADVANTNIDGE prioritizes, as well as the dedication to asking smart questions so that we can break through our client’s obstacles with greater clarity and impactful solutions.”

Serving has shifted Rob’s values in a meaningful way: “I would place moral character pretty high on the list of items I value most. At the military’s core, it is one of the most common expectations amongst everyone wearing the uniform and if lost, it’s catastrophic. Nothing erodes trust and morale more than a loss of confidence in your character. As a result, I learned to always lead with that and to never sacrifice it for anything.”

His value in moral character translates to the relationships and work he does for ADVANTIDGE daily. He says, “I always act with integrity. Doing the right thing, for my company, my colleagues, and my clients is the only way to act. No exceptions to that rule. All-day. Every day.”
